Value Place Hotel;   Loveland, Colorado

The Value Place Hotel site is a 1.8 acre commercial development consisting of a 4-story, 121-room hotel located near the intersection of Clydesdale Parkway and Peralta Drive (3915 Peralta Drive) in Loveland, Colorado. Shear Engineering provided foundation and structural designs for the retaining walls located along Clydesdale Parkway on the east side of the project site. The Value Place hotel opened for business in November 2008.

University of Northern Colorado Butler Hancock Field;   Greeley, Colorado

Shear Engineering Corporation provided structural retaining wall design consultation and construction inspections for several site retaining walls at the University of Northern Colorado's Butler Hancock Field, in Greeley, Colorado. The retaining wall implemented the use of Allan Block segmental retaining wall units and Miragrid XT geogrid. Construction was completed in 2007.
