Center Greens at Southridge Greens is surrounded by the eighth, ninth and tenth fairways of the Southridge Greens golf course in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Courtyards at Miramount P.U.D.—Fort Collins, Colorado
Hearthfire P.U.D.—Fort Collins, Colorado
Hearthfire is a single-family subdivision located in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado. There will be a total of 148 single family lots on 105.33 acres. Hearthfire was designed in two filings.
The First Filing consists of 91 single family lots, and one community center on 66.02 acres. All First Filing subdivision infrastructure is complete. Most homes have been built and the Community Center Building opened New Years Eve 2002.
The Second Filing consists of 57 single family lots on 39.31 acres. This phase of the subdivision is currently under construction.
With Hearthfire developments, Shear Engineering designed road improvements for Douglas Road.
Hearthfire is a single-family subdivision located in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado. There will be a total of 148 single family lots on 105.33 acres. Hearthfire was designed in two filings.

Lakeside Terrace Estates consists of 60 lots on 21.16 acres. Shear Engineering prepared street, utility and drainage designs.
Street improvement construction drawings for the South Taft Avenue and 28th Street SW street improvements adjacent to Lakeside Terrace Second were prepared with this development.

McCoy-Jensen Subdivision—Lakewood, Colorado
McCoy-Jensen Subdivision consists of 55 Lots on 12 acres at Old Kipling and Morrison Roads in Lakewood. Shear Engineering Corporation prepared the Final Plat, Street plans, Water and Sewer plans and Final Drainage Report for the Fifth Filing of McCoy-Jensen Subdivision.
The subdivision lies immediately north of Bear Creek. A large irrigation/drainage ditch (the Pioneer Union Ditch) traverses the north portion of the site, which is the highest part of the subdivision. Drainage facility design included the on-site minor and major drainage systems which would be compatible with existing drainage system. Approval also required that major street drainage improvements be analyzed and designed for Old Kipling Street (City of Lakewood Collector) and Morrison Road (State Highway). This subdivision and improvements to Old Kipling Street and Morrison Road has been constructed.
McCoy-Jensen Subdivision consists of 55 Lots on 12 acres at Old Kipling and Morrison Roads in Lakewood. Shear Engineering Corporation prepared the Final Plat, Street plans, Water and Sewer plans and Final Drainage Report for the Fifth Filing of McCoy-Jensen Subdivision.

For the Second Filing, Shear Engineering prepared street, utility and drainage design and drainage report for 30 lots on 13.76 acres (density = 2.18 units per acre).
Solar Ridge consists of 54 lots on 26.81 acres. Solar Ridge was designed in two filings.

Southridge Greens P.U.D.—Fort Collins, Colorado
Southridge Greens is a residential/golf course community on approximately 200 acres. The project consists of seven (7) tracts of residential development with a golf course abutting most of the tract boundaries.
Shear Engineering provided detailed designs for 5 of the 7 residential tracts. Design consisted of a major water system analysis for the development, approximately 15,000 lineal feet of on-site and off-site water transmission main, design of approximately 10,000 lineal feet of on-site collector and local streets, and all affiliated master drainage and detailed site specific drainage analysis and drainage facility design. Project management and design included all associated coordination with the golf course, the City of Fort Collins, all affected utility companies and a ditch company.
Shear Engineering Corporation was retained by the original developer of the Southridge Greens project, the Bucain Corporation, in 1985 to perform continuing engineering services associated with the golf course and residential tracts in association with the replatting of those tracts; Mail Creek Village, Fairway Two and the Front Nine.

This development included regional detention and storm drainage facilities, street oversizing and sanitary sewer oversizing, and stormwater design oversizing documentation and reimbursement requests.
