Below are some Post-Frame Building projects by Shear Engineering Corporation: 5690 South Tom Bay Court; Arapahoe County (Bennett), Colorado Shear Engineering Corporation provided foundation design, structural component design and construction observations for a 60' x 120' x 16' agricultural post-frame building (pole barn) located near Bennett, Colorado. Due to adverse loading conditions and the client's wish for large door openings, specialty header design was required. A composite beam, consisting of several steel and wood components was designed for specific locations where a standard wood header would not be adequate. Greater flexibility on the design end allows for greater flexibility of the client in determining exactly what they want in the finished product. Shear Engineering complete a structural analysis and excavation observations on this site. Construction was completed in September 2009. 229 North Highway 287; Larimer County (Fort Collins), Colorado Shear Engineering Corporation provided foundation design, structural component design and construction observations for a 45' x 85' x 14' commercial post-frame building. Shear Engineering completed a site plan review and a zoning variance on this site. Construction was completed in 2009. 10127 Phillips Road; Boulder County, Colorado Shear Engineering Corporation provided foundation design, structural component design and construction observations for this 88' x 30' and 60' x 36' L-Shaped post-frame building. Construction was completed in 2003.
