Shear Engineering Corporation was established in 1985 to offer a broad base of expertise in Civil Engineering:

• Structural Design

• Land Planning

• Land Development Infrastructure Planning and Design

We are committed to providing each client with close personal attention and direct communication.  Each completed project represents a total company effort, pooling resources to provide a quality finished product.  We have assembled a talented staff with a range of professional experience.  Their dedication is evident in their work, sound in both content and presentation.

Our clients include private individuals, developers, architects, municipalities and governmental entities with projects ranging from one-lot improvement surveys to multi-million dollar developments.  We have been involved in all phases of project administration, from the initial planning stages to final construction.

A monetary consideration much greater than engineering fees is capital construction cost.  Therefore, we are careful to avoid over design of facilities that can result in needless expense to the owner.  Another consideration often overlooked is the annual operating and maintenance cost of the installed facilities.  We believe in specifying facilities that are adequate for the job and that require a minimum of operating and maintenance expense.
