Listed below are a few commercial building projects that Shear Engineering Corporation was involved with:

Broncos Parkway Plaza Retail Building;   Englewood, Colorado

Shear Engineering Corporation provided foundation and structural design for the 11,445 square foot, mixed-use retail building at 15500 East Broncos Parkway, Englewood, Colorado. Some structural components of the building included steel bar joists and joist girders, steel stud framing, and structural masonry. Shear Engineering Corporation was also involved in construction aspects of the project including shop drawing review, and structural framing changes. Construction was completed in 2007.

Lots 4 & 5, Broncos Parkway Plaza Office Buildings;   Englewood, Colorado

Shear Engineering Corporation provided foundation and structural design for two (2) 14,972 square foot, mixed-use office buildings on East Broncos Parkway, Englewood, Colorado. The majority of the structure utilized wood framing, including glulam beams and manufactured wood products. Shear Engineering Corporation was also involved in construction aspects of the project including shop drawing review, and structural framing changes.

Guitar Center;   Fort Collins, Colorado

Shear Engineering Corporation provided the civil sitework, building foundation and structural designs and construction observations for the 10,068 square foot retail center located at 813 East Harmony Road in Fort Collins, Colorado. Civil sitework design included the design for the utility (water and sanitary sewer) service layout, drainage system (including storm sewer system and stormwater detention), parking lot design, and grading design. Structural components of the building included steel bar joists and joist girders, steel stud framing, masonry, and steel lateral force resisting systems. Shear Engineering Corporation was also involved in all construction aspects of the project including elevation and grading certification, a final drainage, erosion control and water quality report, sitework revision coordination and documentation, foundation inspections, structural framing inspections, shop drawing review, concrete mix design review, and structural framing changes. The Guitar Center opened in 2007.
